Today, Em and I hosted our final Slow Second Saturday event of the year – a monthly gathering we’ve been doing since March. This one was our biggest one yet, and I went straight from that into my qigong teacher training class that ran for three hours. The truth is, I’m sitting down to write this in a hurry because it has been a full day already!
As I think about the challenges of maintaining a daily posting schedule for 100 consecutive (almost) days, I can acknowledge that it has been a big goal, but I am all in on keeping the daily cadence – especially to be so close to the end of my time-bound commitment, I couldn’t miss posting today. That said, I don’t have a lot to say today and this post is more like a journal entry than a real post. I’m giving myself permission to release perfectionism! 🙂
I have a full heart after a beautiful Friendsmasgiving dinner last night, and Slow Second was equally heartwarming. Friends brought flowers, helped cook and clean, and made new connections with each other. Plus, Fritz got his own waffle!

I’m grateful for a full day of connection, and am going to get back inside the house to spend time with Emily. She’s on vacation until the December 21st, so I need to soak up all the time I can while she’s home! I’ll be back on my regular writing vibe tomorrow.

100 Liminal Days is an experimental project of embracing my current transition season after exiting my business. I'm sharing an honest, real-time account of a self-initiation experience following The Artist's Way course in daily posts which are usually 1,500-3,000 words long.
